Horizont II

Projekt HORIZONT

Vysvětlení pojmu Horizont podle Wikipedie
1. Astronomický - vodorovná rovina, protínající oko pozorovatele
2. Viditelný - tvořený například horami, stavbami, lesy a pod.

Sáčky do koše, jídlo, těstoviny...

Posun by měl nastat hlavně v měřítku. Ráda bych pracovala land artovým způsobem místní materie, jehož prezentovatelným výsledkem bude opět fotografie.

Výsledkem bude srovnání dvou poloh vnímání daného tématu.

Realizace duben 2014.

Horizon II
The Horizon Project
The term horizon as explained in Wikipedia:
  1. Astronomical – straight, flat surface intersecting the eye of the observer;
  2. Visible – created for example by mountains, buildings, forests, etc.;
  3. Real – created by the ideal surface of the Earth, for example at the sea.

Horizon – the two possible ways of perception
Firstly, I work with my photographs and with postcards that I feel emotionally close to. I look at the topic from a mother’s perspective, from a housewife’s role; she is trapped by everyday routine activities. In my photographs, I create the horizon according to the Wikipedia explanation but in the reverse form. Behind the horizon, there is air, void, nothingness… However, I create space made of things behind horizon, things that I commonly use in the household. Trash bags, food, pasta…
Secondly, in Poland I was looking at horizon in the same way as in the first case. My role was, however, different. An independent artist in an impersonal place, free of all commitment. The shift should mostly concern the scale. I would like to process local materials in a land-art-like way, and the presentable result would again be photography.
The work will result into comparison of the two views of the topic given.
Implemented in April, 2014.
